Magic: The Gathering! Championship Series #1 VAQ1QXD

Welcome fellow members of TCG Oneline to the Magic: The Gathering! Championship Series.
In this tournament you may compete against other members of our community to gain season points.

The format for this tournament will be Standard Format, all duels are Match Duels (Best 2 out of 3). There will be several rounds during the tournament, depending on the number of players competing: 8, 16, 32, or 64. The tournament will have 4 Swiss-rounds, at the end of the Swiss-rounds, the top 4 players with highest points + wins proceed to quarter-finals which will be single elimination, also a tier breaker will take place in case two players end up with equal amount of points + wins.

Each round will last for 1 week. The default dueling system will be UnTap.in however, you're permitted to use ANY other dueling system as long as your opponent is okay with it.

Any disconnection of any sort will be judged as a round loss unless you have a CLEAR advantage on the field (hand, deck and graveyard are IGNORED). Unless you have that, It's auto-round-loss. Make sure you have a stable Internet Connection before you duel your opponent.
If an issue occurs make sure you inform the tournament host first. It's also preferable to take a screenshot of your wins in case the opponent isn't able to confirm - or wouldn't confirm.

Quick tutorial for those of you who don't know how MTG banlist works

Standard format uses the two most recently-released blocks, as well as the current core set. When a new block is launched, the oldest block rotates out of the list. The following card sets are currently permitted in standard format: top being newest set to bottom older set

Magic Origins (effective July 17, 2015)
Dragons of Tarkir (effective March 27, 2015)
Fate Reforged
Khans of Tarkir
Magic 2015
Journey into Nyx
Born of the Gods
Theros

So for example if a new set comes out Theros will be banned from standard, and if a newer one comes out, it will rotate, and born of the Gods will be banned, going up like that.

Standard is also a constructed deck format, so the normal constructed rules apply:

- Minimum of sixty cards
- No maximum deck size, as long as you can shuffle your deck unassisted
- Up to fifteen cards in your sideboard, if used
- No more than four of any individual card in your main deck and sideboard combined (with the exception of basic lands)
