[YGO] My Competitive Gem-Knights Empty
PostSubject: [YGO] My Competitive Gem-Knights   [YGO] My Competitive Gem-Knights EmptyWed Mar 11, 2015 3:19 pm

This is DuskMage, showcasing my main deck. Incase my Avatar hasn't tipped you off, I'm a big fan of Gem-Knights. This build is the current result of my experimentation with the deck. Hope you all enjoy and let me know what you think of it

Monsters
3x Gem-Knight Garnet
3x Gem-Knight Tourmaline
3x Gem-Knight Lazuli
3x Gem-Knight Obsidian
3x Gem-Armadillo
2x Gem-Turtle
2x Denko Sekka
2x Summoner Monk
1x Rescue Rabbit

Spells
3x Absorb Fusion
3x Gem-Knight Fusion
3x Upstart Goblin
3x Mystical Space Typhoon
2x Night Beam
2x Instant Fusion
1x Raigeki
1x Snatch Steal

Extra Deck
2x Gem-Knight Topaz
2x Gem-Knight Prismaura
2x Gem-Knight Citrine
2x Gem-Knight Zirconia
1x Gem-Knight Ruby
1x Gem-Knight Master Diamond
1x Gem-Knight Lady Lapis Lazuli
2x Elder God Noden
2x Lavalval Chain

Side Deck
1x Denko Sekka
3x Smashing Ground
2x Shared Ride
3x Cursed Seal of the Forbidden Spell
3x Fairy Wind
3x Shadow-Imprisoning Mirror

This is a deck built for speed.
- "Gem-" Monsters featured are basically set in stone for any Gem-Knight deck
- Denko Sekka shuts down backrow and is a thunder for Prismaura
- Summoner Monk and Rescue Rabbit allow for the Lavalval Chain when without Gem-Knight Fusion, and for extended fusion plays when you have Gem-Knight Fusion
- MST and night beam provide good backrow removal
- Instant Fusion is to allow for both Lavalval Chain and Fusion extension, and allows for a combo involving Lady Lapis Lazuli and Master Diamond
- Smashing Ground is for Djinn lock
- Shared Ride is a good side deck card this format
- Fairy Wind, Cursed Seal, and Shadow-Imprisoning are self-explanatory.
